Okay, this piece is a long time coming.
In this year's English class, I had to read the book The Grapes of Wrath. I didn't have any particular feelings about the book. It wasn't a bad read, but it's not something I'd pick up again, really. There was, however, a point in the book I found humorous; one of the characters recollects about the time his family's pig got out of the yard, found its way into a neighbor's barn, and, as he put it, "et the baby." I showed that to some friends at school. We all thought it was kinda funny, in a sick and twisted way. So then one of my friends starts playing the new Harvest Moon game. Something about melodies or something, I don't really know. And he has a pig in the game which he so aptly dubbed "Melvin." He asked me to combine his pig with the one from my book. So I did. It wasn't until after I drew this that I saw an actual picture of the pig in the game, though, and this one only barely looks like it. I'm still happy with it, though.
